Ini bukan tentang gaya hidup atau jadi korban dalam rangka meramaikan trend baru hidup sehat yaitu jadi seorang vegetarian.
Saya seorang yang tidak bisa memakan sesuatu yang berasal dari hewan vertebrata jenis apapun seperti kambing, sapi, dll, tidak pula memakan hewan2 jinak menggemaskan yang hidup di perairan semacam seafood dan ikan-ikanan…
Saya terlahir (dan mungkin digariskan) untuk menjadi seorang vegetarian. Setiap kali aku mencium bau ‘aneh’ yang berasal dari hewan, pastilah tubuhku bereaksi dengan rasa mual.
Sekarang, kurasakan manfaat sebagai seorang pemakan segala ( diluar daging tentunya), telah menjadikan tubuhku lebih tahan terhadap banyak penyakit, paling gaya sakit yang dialami cuma plu-filek, eh salah flu-pilek -maag-migrain…
Satu lagi, ternyata jadi seorang vegetarian itu secara tidak langsung juga bikin kita jadi lebih sabar,hehee..
Go Vegetarian!! Let the Cow lives… :p

Aston Bandung Hotel and Residence proudly held two days seminar concerning environment preservation. The workshop is appointed for Hotel Industry that concern to implement the green system at all level of both operational and managerial.
Mr. I Gede Ardika, former Minister of Indonesian Culture and Tourism was a keynote speaker of the event. Many many system in corelation to the saving program were explained by Mr. Setiawan Wangsaatmadja ( Chairman of BPLHD of West Java ), Mrs. Yuyun from Balifokus and other expert speakers .
There are some standards to be fulfilled by the hotel to join the Green Hotel Association, stated by Mr. I Gede Ardika.

Another day to plant another trees…
Sunday morning, January 18, still i have to woke up early after the big day a day before..
I’m so excited, me and my other Greenholic Team are going to chill out to a hillside of Bandung called Desa Cimenyan..
Desa Cimenyan is about one hour driving from the city center of Bandung, its cold climate and highland fresh air has become a perfect area to plant some veggies such as vegetables like potato, casava and carbage.
Unfortunately, on this wonderful side of Bandung, some hills are yet not being green as it is supposed to be.
Aston Bandung Hotel and Residence is committed to preserve the environment and happily to make a tiny part of this giant higher ground be a little greener.
Supported by IAESEC ( International Youth Association), Bike To Work Community and TRABAS, we’ve planted about 200 mango trees around the area. About 1000 trees will be planted by Aston Bandung Hotel and Residence during the year of 2009.
We hopes that in the future, people of this village, especially the farmers, will have responsibility to keep the trees grows well and produce good mango in the time ahead.

Aston Bandung Hotel and Residence is proud to be a part of Worldwide Green Hotels Association. As our commitment on preserving the environment, we are fully supported the green action which has been sounding by the local government as well.
Aston Bandung Hotel and Residence is about to held ” Tree Planting Program “ which include around 1000 trees during 2009, the planting will be done one step in a row in some areas of Bandung.
Recently, on January 9, 2009, with kind support of our friends from Republik entertainment, Bike To Work Community, Bicons ( Bird Conservations ) and E-Photography Community, we have planted for about 100 trees in our hotel’s rooftop. The planting itself is purposed to reduce the heat on daylight.
On coming sunday, we are going to have another 200 trees planted in Desa Cimenyan, Kabupaten Bandung.
